The Setting

All photos were taken at the confirmed shooting location in Sherman, CT.

Captured in the isolation of the rural northeast, the setting forms a pressure cooker for interpersonal conflicts as the final hours tick away. Shooting will take place entirely at a beautiful country house in Sherman, Connecticut and its surrounding woods.

The Filmmakers

Noah Eisenstein & Isaac Mandel Co-Writers & Producers

Isaac (UCLA ’25) and Noah (NYU Tisch ’25) met in 7th grade in their hometown, the great city of Philadelphia. This story has been building in them ever since. Last fall, the duo’s original play, “The Orgy,” premiered at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival to a sold-out run. Doomers is their first feature film together.

Shoshana Ehrenkranz Director

Shoshana Ehrenkranz is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY, whose work gravitates toward horror and social commentary stories. While a student at NYU Tisch, she won the Sight & Sound category of the Fusion Film Festival, a women and non-binary centered festival. After graduating, she completed a Fulbright Scholarship in Taiwan. Shoshana’s debut feature film Juice Cleanse, a horror-comedy, received the Reboot Creator Fund, the CJP arts & culture grant, and the New York State Council on the Arts grant. Juice Cleanse was presold to Epic Pictures Group in 2026 for distribution. Doomers is her second feature film.

Benjy Berkowitz Cinematographer

Benjy Berkowitz is a New York City-based cinematographer whose work has screened at SXSW, SeriesFest, Palm Springs ShortsFest, and Flickerfest International. Since graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he has shot features, TV pilots, shorts, and commercials. He enjoys a collaborative approach to finding a unique and fitting look for every project.

Jon Mizrahi Producer

Jonathan Mizrahi is a writer, producer, and graphic designer. After working in development at LA-based Retrofit Films, Jonathan wrote and produced Juice Cleanse, an independent body-horror comedy feature film, which pre-sold to Epic Pictures Group. Other producing credits include the award-winning short Octopus, drama short Rockabye Birdy (currently on festival circuit), and mockumentary Luigi Lookalike, funded by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO productions.

Zack Weiner Producer

Zack Weiner is a screenwriter and producer based in NYC. Zack wrote the Tribeca-winning comedy Bad Shabbos, which grossed 1.5 million domestic and is now streaming on Netflix. As a producer, Zack has shepherded scripts from development to distribution, with movies currently streaming on Netflix, Shudder and Paramount+. Upcoming projects include a horror-comedy in post-production at Epic Pictures (Terrifier, Jeruzalem), a religious comedy scheduled for production this summer in Oklahoma, and a script in development with Kinematics (The Apprentice, Josephine).

André Robert Lee Associate Producer

When André calls “Action,” he is speaking to the audience. A filmmaker, educator, and cultural strategist, André Robert Lee is the founder of Many Things Productions and the director of award-winning documentaries that sit at the intersection of storytelling, social impact, and community engagement. His recent work includes the feature documentary This Too Is Healthcare: Bridging the Gaps and the Oscar-qualified and NAACP Image Awards nominated short Freeman Vines, acquired by Switchboard Magazine. André has directed and produced for CNN’s This Is Life with Lisa Ling, co-directed the Sundance-premiering Meet Me Where I Am, and served as Executive Producer of NPR’s Notes From America with Kai Wright, helping expand the program to more than 120 stations nationwide. Earlier in his career, he worked on Miramax’s Oscar campaigns and was hand-selected by Albert Maysles to collaborate on multiple documentary projects.

Joe Gallagher Line Producer

Joe Gallagher is a New York-based actor and film producer. His feature film acting credits include Pledge directed by Daniel Robbins and written by Zack Weiner, Abject directed by David R Williams, and Citizen Weiner, for which Joe also co-wrote the story. Since graduating from Fordham University with a degree in Economics, Joe has worked Off Broadway in New York, as well as produced a handful of feature films under the banner of Manhattan Movie Studio, a start-up production/distribution house which he co-founded in 2021.
